Facial Treatments FAQ Bucharest Mega Mall

Below you'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about the facial treatments available at Nomasvello Mega Mall Point Bucharest. For personalised recommendations, an initial consultation with our specialist is always the first step.

Are there treatments for blackheads?

Yes. The recommended protocol includes an initial facial diagnosis, followed by ProSkin cleansing and, optionally, IPL Rejuvenation or LED, depending on skin type and the specialist's assessment. Results vary from person to person and depend on the particulars of the skin.

Can ProSkin cleansing help with whiteheads (milia)?

ProSkin can help soften the look of superficial fatty bumps. Deep whiteheads (deep milia) need dermatological assessment and intervention. Our specialist will tell you at the consultation whether the treatment suits your case or whether a referral to a dermatologist is needed.

Which cosmetic products can help blemish-prone skin?

The No+Vello range includes skin-care products for blemish-prone skin: a mask and spray with salicylic acid, ampoules with mandelic acid, cleansing gels and anti-sebum fluids. These are cosmetic care products, not medical treatments. Our specialist can recommend the right products for your skin type at the consultation.

For the look of post-acne marks, IPL Rejuvenation may be an option to discuss with the specialist, depending on the type and stage of the blemishes. Suitability is assessed at the consultation.

How can couperose (visible thread veins) be approached?

For couperose-prone skin, our specialists may recommend a protocol that combines ProSkin and IPL Rejuvenation, with 2–3 days between procedures, depending on skin sensitivity. Recommended cosmetic products include the No+Vello hydro-protective emulsion with aloe vera and SPF, masks and ampoules with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. The exact protocol is set at the consultation, after assessing your skin.

What is the difference between ProSkin + IPL Rejuvenation and ProSkin + LED?

ProSkin + IPL Rejuvenation — combines ProSkin facial cleansing with intense pulsed light (IPL). It is recommended for general skin care, an even-looking skin tone and softening the signs of ageing. The exact indications are set by the specialist at the consultation.

ProSkin + LED (chromotherapy) — combines ProSkin facial cleansing with LED light therapy. It may be recommended for hydration, rebalancing oily skin and supporting local circulation. The LED colour used is chosen by the specialist according to your skin's needs.

How often should facial treatments be done?

The recommended frequency varies by treatment and by each client's particulars:

  • IPL Rejuvenation — generally one session every 21 days. The total number of sessions is set by the specialist at the consultation.
  • LED (chromotherapy) — generally one session a week. The length of the protocol is set individually.
  • ProSkin — recommended periodically, depending on skin type and individual needs, ideally monthly for maintenance.

What are the contraindications for facial treatments?

IPL and LED facial treatments are not recommended during pregnancy, in the presence of active skin conditions, epilepsy, metal implants in the treated area or other medical contraindications. The full list of contraindications is always discussed at the initial consultation.
